36V DC Low Voltage Drive System
Traditional bollard systems often use 220V or 110V AC power, which creates real risks in areas where pedestrians and vehicles share space. UPARK uses a 36V DC low voltage drive system across our automatic bollard range. This significantly reduces the risk of electric shock and makes the system safer to install and maintain.
The 36V system also works well with battery backup configurations. When grid power fails, the battery system can still raise or lower the bollard, which is critical for emergency vehicle access or security lockdown scenarios.
IP68 Waterproof Rating
UPARK automatic bollards achieve IP68 protection rating, meaning the housing is completely dust-tight and can withstand continuous immersion in water beyond 1 meter depth. This is not just a laboratory rating — our bollards are installed in coastal areas, flood-prone zones, and locations with poor drainage, and they keep working.
Because of the IP68 design, you do not need to build a separate drainage system for each bollard. This saves construction cost and reduces long-term maintenance. For sites where excavation depth is limited or ground water level is high, this is a major advantage.
Intelligent System Integration
Our bollards support seamless integration with license plate recognition (LPR), radar detection, inductive loop sensors, traffic signals, and mobile app control. The control system can manage multiple bollards simultaneously and log all operations for audit purposes.
Every electric bollard also includes a manual override function. If power fails or the control system needs maintenance, you can still operate the bollard manually. This ensures that security or access is not compromised by a technical fault.
Customization Options
We support customization on material (304/316 stainless steel, carbon steel), color, embedded LED lighting, reflective strips, and control methods. If your project has specific requirements for impact resistance rating or system integration, we can adjust the design accordingly.
